Radwimps, Japanese rock band

If you have seen the movie, "Your name", which was released last year and was such a huge thing not limited to Japan but also in some other countries, you might have of the band, "Radwimps". I's a Japanese rock band consisting of 4 members, and all the songs used in "Your name" were created and recorded by them. The songs used in the movie were all amazing, and exactly matching each scenes of "Your name", Radwimps did not take long to be known by the public, especially young people.

From the official website. From the right, Yojiro(vocal), Akira(guitar), Yusuke(bass)

This is the song which was used in the movie, Zen Zen Zense (前前前世) . Zense in Japanese means the life before we were born, like the idea of reincarnation, so he sings how he had been looking for the girl before he was even born.

There's also an English version of all the songs from Your name, which you might wanna try listening to too :)

However, the songs from the movie are definitely not the only good songs from Radwimps.

Kimito Hitsuji to ao(君と羊と青)
This song, which the title means, "you, the sheep and blue" sings about the opportunities that we miss or are unable to reach out. It also tells us how we have to remind ourselves that we can only live all these times once. The song it upbeat, and it's just really pleasant to listen to.

Futarigoto(ふたりごと)
This is another really famous song, and the title, "Futarigoto"(ふたりごと) means it is about the two of us. It is probably a love song to a girl whose parents are not staying together anymore, singing how he will stay with her forever, and that they were meant to fall in love. The song starts off with Yojiro's gentle voice saying "How should I tell you this?"Below is the music video for Futarigoto, you should definitely send some time listening to it! (Personally, this is my absolute favrourite song from Radwimps)
