Popular camera apps among Japanese girls

In Japan, almost no teenage girls use the default camera app on their phones. Instead, they'd use the camera apps that allow them to choose from a variety of filters before taking photos. Some of those apps, like the one in Snapchat, edit the photos slightly automatically so that it would always make you look prettier and cuter. I'm going to introduce some of those camera apps, especially popular to teenage girls in Japan.

Camera360

Camera360 and B612 (shown below) are probably the apps that girls would go for when they are aiming to get a pretty selfie that is not too unnatural. Camera360 has many filters that, as I have said, is very natural in the way they'd put filters and make your skin look so much smoother. It's also good that you can change the filter after taking the photo as well as before.

B612

This app is very similar to camera360, but it's different in the way you can take a full screen photo instead of framed ones. The filters, I feel, are slightly more girly. I personally really like using it, as the filters are great even when the lighting in the place taking the photo is not so good.

Snow

This another app used very regularly by Japanese girls is very much like Snapchat, but just a bit cuter. You can do face swaps, or put filters of many different themes including puppies, rabbits, or Santa-Clause hat during the Christmas. You can also send the photos to your friend, but a lot of people use this just as the app to take photos or have fun with their friends.

Miss Japanese high schooler

So, there's a miss contest for high school girls in Japan, and Miss. Japan high schooler is going to be announced on the 29th of March, 2 days time from now. The way it works is that they choose two finalists from each of 6 regions in Japan, and they'd choose the miss at the end. So those girls are the finalists, and the miss will be chosen by the votes from the high school girls in Japan. I will let you guys know who became the miss when it is announced in 2 days. Drowning knife (Oboreru Knife) - Japanese movie

This week, I'll introduce you another Japanese romantic movie that was released this winter, which is "Drowning knife (Oboreru Knife). I went to see it, and I was really impressed by all the beautiful scenes that appeared on the screen. Natsume and Kou, taken from the official website Brief story: Natsume, a 15 year old girl who is also a popular model, moves for far from Tokyo for her family reasons. She was completely bored living in the countryside, but she meets Kou, a boy so different from everyone in the way he lives in a complete freedom.
