Starbucks in Japan

Okay, Starbucks is everywhere. Anywhere I go in the world, I can find Starbucks. I know some people are not a big fun of Starbucks, but I have to admit, it is my favourite place, and the ones in Japan especially.

The reason for this is the seasonal drinks that they produce. I enjoy getting seasonal seasonal drinks at Starbucks in any places in the world, but the ones in Japan are exceptionally unique and tasty!!

So let me introduce you some of the ones I've liked the most, and the current seasonal flavours :)

First, there's a flavour that I still remember from 2012, which is...

Frappuccino with white chocolate pudding (2012)

Since it was a flavour from 2012, I was still 13, it does seem like ages ago! But I still actually remember the exact taste of this frappeccino. What was so special about this was that it had pudding at the bottom, the white bit in the picture, and it was such a unique feeling to drink a frappeccino with pudding. Tt was blending so well!!! This was only introduced in Japan, it's just too sad they haven't done it since 2012!!!

Peach in Peach Frappeccino (2015, summer)

This was another revolutionary frappeccino at that time, I'm pretty sure I've had it more than 5 times in the two months time that it was out. At this point, there's no taste of coffee at all, it was just a sweet, fruity drink. HOWEVER, it was still absolutely fantastic :)

Baked Cheese Cake Frappeccino (2016)

There we go, my absolute favourite one. This was released in 2016 spring, and I cannot even recall how many times I had this, and how many times I thought about mass buying it and keeping it in the freezer when it came close to the end of the season. This another unique frappeccino, just made me feel like I was actually eating baked cheese cake, and IT IS A DRINK! People either liked it so much or hated it so much, because of its unique taste, but this still remains as my number one starbucks frappeccino of all times.

Although I put a lot of effort into introducing the ones from the past, YOU CAN NO LONGER HAVE THEM! What you can have in Japan at the moment is...

Sakura Blossom Cream frappeccino (2017, February)

I guess it's a (finally) very JAPANESE custom. I can't be enthusiastic about it coz I haven't tried it yet, but I mean, it's Starbucks. I guess it's gonna be great too :)

So if you go to Japan...
Walk into Starbucks, it will be different from your country :)
